Starter Theme - Installation

The Storesynk setup process seamlessly connects your Shopify store with Webflow, allowing you to manage products, variants, and taxonomies directly within Webflow’s CMS. This walkthrough covers the installation of the Storesynk Shopify App, connecting it to a Webflow project, and importing Shopify data into Webflow.

Step 1: Installing the Storesynk Shopify App

  1. Open Shopify Admin, search for Storesynk, and install the app.
  2. Once installed, log in to your Storesynk account or sign up for free.
  3. Click "Connect to a Webflow Project" and select the Starter Theme you just cloned.
  4. Authorize the app, save the connection, and open Webflow to proceed.

Step 2: Enabling Storesynk on Webflow

  1. Open the Storesynk Webflow App from the Apps tab.
  2. Click "Installation" and enable "Auto-install" to inject the necessary installation code into Webflow’s site settings.
  3. Check the "I understand" box, save the changes, and publish your site.

Step 3: Importing Shopify Data into Webflow CMS

  1. In the Storesynk App, go to "Import and Manage Shopify Data".
  2. The app automatically maps Shopify data to the Webflow CMS collections:
    • Products and Variants store product information.
    • Collections, Tags, Vendors, and Product Types manage taxonomies.
  3. If necessary, select products to exclude from the sync.
  4. Click "Continue" to run a final check, then start the import process.
  5. Depending on your store size, the import may take a few minutes—check the CMS for newly created items.
